蟷螂子は、現代社会における匿名性という観点から「個」を見つめることを表現の根底に置く現代アーティストです。
本展は、これまでの美人画シリーズを主軸とした明確なモチーフ表現から一線を画し、作家にとって重要な転換点となる新シリーズ「Lost Vision」を本格的に展開いたします。

Kamakiriko is a contemporary artist whose work centers on examining the “individual” through the lens of anonymity in modern society.
This exhibition marks a significant turning point in her practice, formally presenting the “Lost Vision” series, which departs from the clearly defined motifs of her earlier bijinga works.
In “Lost Vision,” the artist’s exploration of hazy memory and her engagement with the boundary between historical fact and fiction take on tangible form.
