Bonniers Konsthallアートセンターでは、「Rummaging」と題されたスウェーデンのコンテポラリー・アートを紹介する、現代作家のグループ展が開催されていました。キュレーターのCamilla Larssonは、今年に入ってから、スウェーデンの若手作家たちのスタジオを尋ね歩きました。そして、その結果が今回の展覧会となっています。集まった１１アーティストの作品は、まだキャリアを始めたばかりの若手コンテンポラリーアーティストのとって、スウェーデンの80年代初頭のアート界と、どのような繋がりがあるのか、私達に見せてくれました。大がかりなインスタレーションや多義的な彫刻、リアルタイムビデオ、影絵芝居などで構成されています。
また、一連のディスカッションやパフォーマンス、コンサートの中で、the '80s meets the '00sについての附属イベントのプログラムも行われました。
参加アーティスト：Suzanna Asp, Fredrik Auster/Viggo Mörck, Ebba Bohlin, Gabo Camnitzer, Johanna Gustafsson Fürst, Kerstin Persson, Jennie Sundén/Åsa Norberg, Christin Wahlström och Anna Wignell.
My favorite installation was Gabo Camnitzer's one, titled Primal Intervals ( 2008). A whole room filled with colorful broken panels.
Behind each panel was another panel, four layers of primary colors appearing randomly due to their detruction. During the exhibition, the artist invited musicians to perform in the installation.
The whole exhibition had a cold atmosphere reminding Bauhaus, but still some humor. Really nice venue, very well located.
私のお気に入りは、Gabo Camnitzerの、Primal Intervals (2008)という作品でした。部屋全体がカラフルな壊れたパネルで埋められています。各パネルの後ろには、また別のパネルがあり、原色のパネル４枚が重ねられて、壊れたところから姿を見せます。Gaboは会期中、インスタレーションの中でパフォーマンスをミュージシャンを招いていました。
展覧会全体に漂う冷たい雰囲気はバウハウスを思い出させましたが、こちらにはユーモアがありました。とてもいい会場、いいロケーションでした。

The Art Center Bonniers Konsthall was showing the Swedish contemporary art scene with a group exhibition titled Rummaging. Bonniers Konsthall asked Camilla Larsson, who has spent the year visiting Swedish young artists in their studios to curate an exhibition. the result presented, revealed a connection between emerging contemporary artists and the Swedish art world of the early 80s with works by 11 artists, all at the beginning of their careers. The Rummaging exhibition combines monumental installation, ambiguous sculpture, real-time video and shadow play.
A program accompanying events about the '80s meets the '00s also took place in a series of discussions, performances and concerts.
