またまたバルセロナです。
バルセロナは建築的に豊かな街ですが、私の好きな場所のひとつに、1929年のバルセロナ万国博覧会のためにミース・ファン・デル・ローエの設計により建 てられた、ドイツ館バルセロナパヴィリオンがあります。博覧会の翌年に取り壊され、83年にまた再建されています。ミースは大理石やトラバーチン、石や水 を素材として使いましたが、私にとってもっとも印象的なのは、そのラインです。
入場するともらえるパンフレット。Barcelona is a town very rich in architecture, one of my favourite place is the German Pavilion built by Mies Van Der Rohe for the International Exposition in Barcelona in 1929, destroyed the year after and rebuilt in 1983. He used materials such as marble,travertine, stones and water, but the most impressive thing of the building are for me the lines.
